Intensive Program
A five-to-six week intensive in Chicago for dancers seeking concentrated classical technique, repertory, contemporary practice, conditioning, and audition preparation with Metro Arc Dance Company faculty.
Students are assigned to the level that best fits age, technical readiness, pointe or men's class experience, and placement-class results.
Ages 10-13
ballet, hip hop, improvisation, music, access-centered class design
Ages 14-22
technique, contemporary, hip hop, partnering options, repertory
Ages 8-99
seated and standing class options, caregiver-supported creative work
Arc Junior includes ballet, hip hop, improvisation, music, access-centered class design. Placement method: Registrar level review before arrival. Culminating activity: studio share.

Applicants should register through the official audition page and choose the program code listed beside each session. Placement is based on class observation, video review, or prior-year evaluation.
Application and audition information
Metro Arc Dance Summer Intensive applications are due February 18, 2027. Late applications are reviewed only when space remains.
Applicants are notified within three weeks of the audition or video review. Accepted students receive a deposit invoice and placement notes by email.
The non-refundable enrollment deposit is 20 percent of listed tuition. Remaining tuition is refundable until May 15, 2027, minus the deposit.
Metro Arc does not offer housing, but the access office lists transit and caregiver resources. Residential students under 18 must submit parent consent and travel details before arrival.
